A day in the Life – A rainy Saturday morning

So many parents think they should delay family “day in the life” photoshoots because of the weather and they want to wait until Spring or Summer to do it.
Well, we are in London and weather changes like every hour or minute, so it’s very unpredictable! Guess what? With a documentary photo shoot, you don’t need to worry because life is always happening, your kids still love you, and there are always fun things to do, come rain or come shine.

While I love being outside and capturing family fun in the great outdoors, what I don’t like is waiting until later to capture precious memories of your children growing up. We all know sometimes you expect to do something until a better time, and then we realise the time is just gone! I don’t need to tell you that the children change in the blink of an eye, so don’t let the bad weather stop you from booking a photoshoot to document this stage in your lives.

On this day it was pouring rain that I arrived at their home completely soaked. This family just got on with their normal routine with their three children – homework, playtime, baking, being together! Isn’t this enough? I had so much fun, and so they did.

If you want to give a family documentary session a try, or if you have any questions about these types of sessions, please drop me a note – I’d love to continue the conversation.
