What I love the most about the documentary approach to photography is that the photos truly unveil childrens’ personalties. Even if I only spend a couple of hours with them, children don’t hide their feelings and their inner beauty.
It was a lovely surprise to meet the last addition to the family at their yearly photoshoot. Little Florence was super excited to practice her crawling skills and Felicity loved to run and explore the gorgeous garden. You could immidiately see their incredible bond and love for each other.
I spent a sunny morning capturing photos of these two sweet sisters at The Rose Garden in Hyde Park and it was just the perfect setting. There were arrays of blooming and colourful flowers everywhere. I just can’t get tired of photographing the beauty of the parks London. Hyde Park is an amazing place to take family pictures across all seasons.
A simple walk in the park is one of the many things a family does together. These ordinary things will become memories and these photos are here to remember them. They will be treasured forever.
If you want to give a family documentary session a try, or if you have any questions about these types of sessions, please drop me a note – I’d love to continue the conversation.
